Gurdon area during muzzleload season. Doe were out feeding all day with a few spikes now and then.

Garland County. Definite pre-rut. Saw buck chasing doe, grunting his way after her. Good times to be in the woods I think as the bucks are still out chasing and have not bedded down with does yet.

Montgomery County. I saw 12 does today, at 8 am. A group of 5 and a group of 7, less that 10 minutes apart. These are the only deer I have seen in a week, during daylight. Others I have heard right after dark.
