I made a short foray into one of my squirrel hunting spots in sw White County the other day and didn't see any, or any sign of any.  I was by a creek bottom with mostly black oak and a few scattered white oak.

I also did a little bear scouting in Scott county this past weekend and didn't notice any squirrels there, though I did see lots of squirrel food.

Has anyone squirrel hunted this fall and if so, are you seeing many?

I just noticed about a week ago that the squirrels are eating red oak acorns and still some pine nuts.
