Well, now that summer is here I've gone from deer and ducks to bass and hogs.  My brother-in -law went hog huntin on my wifes lease a few weeks ago with dogs and caught 2  good size pigs.  We are planning another trip this weekend so it should be alot of fun.  I've never been hog huntin with dogs so this could get interesting!

Catch and release, or are you fattening up the pigs for a BBQ? (Sly way of getting invited to a pig roast) or do you kill them on the spot. And be sure to post pictures.

Once the catch dogs got on 'em they tied em up so I know they ain't killing them on site and they damn sure better not be lettin em go!!!  Our main goal is to get rid of em because the A-hole that released them last year let over 100 go on a 300 acre lease.  Needless to say our deer didn't get to eat many golden acorns.  Will send pics!!

Well, the hog hunt was bittersweet.  The dogs got on a good group of hogs but ran them about 2 miles off our lease ( or so the dog owners think).  So, we didn't even lay eyes on a single pig but that could be a good thing.  It kinda sucks right now but come deer season you won't hear me complaining if they're still gone.
