I made a little round yesterday, got a couple of young dogs that needed to be in the woods .Went to a pasture that some hogs have been hitting.I had 2 bay dogs and 2 catch dogs, after about 30 mins my young gyp started to work something out she left out with the other dog behind her within a few mins they were bayed.I got up there and they had a good boar bayed,it looked to be the same boar they had bayed a few weeks earlier that I called them off of.This time he was in the open woods no thickets and no creeks to get in.Decided I had to give it a try,I let the bulldogs loose and it was on.They got it caught I got a leg and its tail, but for some reason my young bulldog came off and got ahold to the same leg I was on,I had to let goto keep from gettig bit.The hog pulled loose ran about 150 yds and they stopped him again. This time I got him on the ground and tied, checked the dogs out none were hunt to bad.Had to get the pasture owner to come help me load it up. He wasn't to thrilled about messing with a live hog.

I know a couple pay to hunt+ kill pens that always need some hogs Don't like to kill them in the woods, would rather wait till we get home so we will have a place to skin it and put in a freezer. We will kill more in the woods durning the winter when its good and cold.Alot of the time when we make a round its for most of the day,
