Well the elk were back this morning, although not all that close. This is the view behind my house. Just grabbed my camera before I left my house and snapped a couple pics. The first pic is zoomed out, the second zoomed in.

Usually they stay around a few days, won't see them for a while, and then bam, they'll be back. This is probably the most I've seen all bunched up together so far.

I ain't seen that many elk since I was in Jackson Hole Wyo.It must be awesome to see that every day. headbang

When I got home from work, they in the field right behind the house, maybe about 500 yards back or so. But it was just dark enough where I couldn't get the camera. I'm hoping in the morning they will still be there so I can get some pictures, but I bet they move back up to where they were in those pictures above. That is close to a mile.
