Hey guys taking a trip up to Northern or Central Arkansas for vacation. Im looking for a place were the Bass fishing is good and the water is flowing! I've looked around at the Buffalo River, Ouachita River, Big Piney Creek and some others. Any other river recomendations would be AWESOME!! We'll be there in early june and are looking for good cabin rentals also.

Any help would be much appreciated! Clay S.

Clay,

Where exactly are you headed? What city? If you're wanting bass fishing, lakes are going to be the ticket for you. If you're up around Mtn. Home, Lake Norfok can be great, and Bull Shoals too. If you're around Heber Springs, trout fishing is awesome on the Little Red River. It all just depends on where you are for lake vs river, and cabins too. Let us know.

Well im not exactly sure? I was getting some suggestions so I could figure that out. Also im mainly wanting to go to a "river" and catch some bass. If you had to pick a river for a week where would you go, for a good time with the family and a chance to catch some fish?

The White Buffalo resort would be a good place it is located on the White River and at the mouth of the Buffalo River, you would have access to both rivers for trout and bass.Bull Shoals Lake and Norfork are just a few minutes away, and Crooked Creek is just up the road for smallmouth fishing. You can go to www.White Buffalo Resort.com or call them at (870)452-8555. icon_thumright. and welcome to the site.
