Are you fishing spinner baits? I've heard the bass have really been hitting in the shallows. No reports from East Arkansas, but a few other lakes around the state that has been the case.

I been hearing bad reports the past week with some spotty success. Everyone is saying it is the up and down temps and fronts. I'd have to agree. The fish I've been catching are not ready to spawn. They aren't quite full of eggs and the eggs are very small. Just touching the water it feels too cold and I have caught very few fish in shallow water. We have been able to whack them after a couple days of sunny 70s and then back to deep water and 40 degree nights.
