Has anyone been out fishing much yet? I been hearing a lot of mixed reviews, but the reports seem to be getting better every day. Our company fishing trip starts tomorrow. Hopefully we'll get a little action. Weather is going to cooperate.

Good luck on your fishing trip, here around where I live the crappie are just starting to bite in the back waters of the Arkansas River.Up on the Mulberry the water is still to cold for the smallmouth to really get going, maybe in a week or two.

Well, It was a little bit slow this weekend. We ended up keeping 140 fish. Caught somewhere in the low 150s, but we release white bass and most black bass. It was a fun time with lots of shinanigans. We had a crawfish boil and if you want to see someone down a 4 oz bottle of zatarain's crab boil for a hundred bucks go to youtube and watch "crab boil challenge". The video got cut off too early. The best part was the next 30 minutes.

First banded crappie. I once spent 2 days trying to catch a tagged trout at JFK park. I finally caught a fish with some bling.
