Hey all, I'm still around just been busy this summer and not doing much forum reading/posting. Wife and I got a new Ford Edge back in Dec. and we've been doing some traveling. Spent a week in Colorado the last of May. On our way to West Virginia in a couple of weeks for her family reunion then in late August we're heading up to Minnisota meeting up with some friends then caravaning up to Bayfiled, Wisconsin on Lake Superior for a few days. I've also been fine tuning my bows and working on my shooting form overcoming an epidemic of target panic. It's taken a year now but for the most part I've got it under control and am now shooting better than I ever have. I still have my moments but am now able to overcome and regain. My Hoyt Ultra Tech is set up for hunting, always has been. I've got a Mathews Conquest I've had since 98 and spent most of this summer setting it up for 3D target shooting. It was originally set up for a 31" draw length. I ordered another cam and now have it set at 29-1/2", this helped a lot! I'm using Goldtip 22 series ultra lights with it and doing well. After spending over $300 dollars on releases, both back tension and caliper, I've finally settled with a Scott Sabertooth. You just can't beat Scott's roller sear release for smoothness! I'll be chatting more frequently as hunting season approaches. I would like to have some in depth discussions on target panic and how to overcome this phenomina as I've had it for years and have just this past year been able to overcome it, at least 90%, I'm still working on it and always will but I've got more control now than I've ever had and my experiences could help many.

It won't be long until we put the trailcam out and start flinging carbon! Esp if elk is on the menu. But first, catch some fish and burn boat gas. Lake Ouachita here we come.

PS Scott, in my humble opinion, make the best releases.
