Hoyt MT Sport ZR 200. A few years old now, but I still love it. Fast, quiet and pretty light.

Matthews MQ32, older model but I still wouldn't trade it for a hoyt. Speakin of Hoyts my cousin bought a brand new one last year, a Trykon if I remember right, well he wants a Matthews DXT so he is going to sell it if anyone would be interested. I don't know what the draw length is but he was pullin 65lbs

baker, if you want you can throw it up in the hunting classifieds for him.
Any idea what he wants for it?
I have to say, I love my Hoyt, but seems like once people go Mathews they never go back.
Anybody got a Bowtech?

I take offense to that ...
No you are right, Mathews is the most aggressive marketer, but I think all the publicity has some merit.

I did not say Mathews was a bad bow. I am just tired of the Mathew's cult!! All bows kill deer lets keep it at that!

You've got it right about us guys who shoot a Mathews. I lucked into mine by trading a crossbow I won for it to an older guy who bought it but never really learned to shoot and said he had never even taken it hunting. Needless to say, I, like most others who own one, will probably never shoot anything but a Mathews even though I have come close to buying a bowtech quite a few times.

Guys every bow out there can perform better than what the person behind it can so its whatever you wanna pay for! I have had 4 Mathews in the past and they are great bows but i got away from them because you can only put harmonic dampeners on so many things before they are just pointless. That is about the only new inovation they come out with until this year with the slim limb. I just purchased the new Hoyt Katera XL and it is sssoooo freakin' awesome! I looked at the new line of Mathews, Bowtech, and Hoyts and did my fair share of research before i did anything. Mathews i didn't really like any of the bows they had and I almost got a bowtech but they used to have a lot of problems so Hoyt was the best choice for me.

I just started bow hunting about 3yrs ago and I had a used jennings stratus II and right as I got into it. My house got broken into and all of my hunting shit was stolen, bow, guns, etc. I told myself next bow I get will be a mathews, I didn't do much research but heard good things. I bought the new mathews drenalin and I absolutely love it! I haven't shot any other bow but i'm pretty sure that I don't have too.
