Arkansas Outdoors Online Deer Hunting Competition 2008

Dates:
Competition Begins: October 1, first day of archery season
Competition Ends: December 31

Encompasses all deer hunting seasons: archery, muzzleoading and rifle.


Prize Categories:
Biggest Buck - Spread + Points = Biggest Buck

Widest Spread - measured from between the inside of the main beams at their widest point. (photo of spread being measured with tape measure/ruler required).

Most Points - must equal 1 inch or larger. (If a point is questionable, a photo of the point being measured must be submitted)


Prizes:
Grand Prize
Biggest Buck - $100 Gift Card to a sporting goods store to-be-determined. (Bass Pro, Gander Mtn., Cabelas, etc.) & Arkansas Outdoors Online t-shirt of choice from store.

Secondary Prizes
Widest Spread: $25 Gift Card, Arkansas Outdoors Online t-shirt of choice.
Most Points: $25 Gift Card, Arkansas Outdoors Online t-shirt of choice.


Photo Entry Submission (In addition to measurement photos mentioned above)
All photos will be reviewed by an official Boone & Crockett scorer, so any attempts by members to cheat will more than likely be caught, resulting in member disqualification.

Your entry into the competition will be verified through photos. The main entry must include all of the following in the same shot:

You, the hunter.
Full body shot of deer
License/completed tag (in main photo and close-up)
Proof of date - A newspaper is acceptable, or you may simply hold a piece of paper with the date written on it. No electronic time stamps will be accepted to avoid any Photoshop altering.


Eligibility
Only one entry per person for entire competition.
In-state hunters only.
In order to submit an entry, you must be a member of the Arkansas Outdoors Online forum
You must also have at least 10 posts by the time the competition ends. For instance, you may submit an entry even before you have 10 posts, but if you have not reached your quota by the time the competition ends, you will be disqualified.

This is to ensure active members of this forum win the prizes (that's you guys) i.e. so random people don't just stop by the forum and throw in entries on the last day.


Additionally
Keep in mind, this is just the first competition. With your help, the prizes will get bigger and better each year. The more ACTIVE members we have in this forum, the better the competition becomes because of sponsors/advertisers.
