Bow hunting practice

Do most of you practice shooting year round? This warmer weather got me thinking about shooting some, and I realized I have not picked up my bow since December.

Well, I need to. I just got my bow back from Archer's Advantage Saturday. I had string and cables replaced. I pretty sure it'll be shooting different. I normally shoot a little on the off season.

I try to shoot year-round but I get into other things and forget about it. It is surely good practice but I think as long as you start shooting in the summer you will be back in form for October.

Hell I'm getting excited just thinking about it. Way too early for that though I guess

Archer's Advantage is THE best place. Bet your bow will shoot a lil' different. Had all my strings replaced a couple years ago and it took me a little while to get a feel for it. Just like breaknig in a new one

I try to go out and shoot every chance I can that way I am sure about being ready before I step into the woods on opening day. and I also like to take tought shots because you  never know what kind of shot that deer may throw at you..

Agreed, hence my main page article, 4 things bow hunters should be doing in May.

Probably the biggest out of what I listed is shooting from the stand, IMO. All fine and dandy when you are standing comfortably on flat ground, but like you said, when you're in an odd position up in a tree it changes everything.
