Everywhere was flooded in my neck of the woods. 9 inches of rain will do that though I guess.

Spent 2 1/2 days of the 3 hunting the wind was brutal and it was chilly to say the least but the wind laid long enough to see some deer Sunday afternoon felt good just to see some up and moving it is unreal what 7 inches of rain can do to the woods you hunt ok i know we have untill Feb 28th to bow hunt but i am ready for Oct 1st 2010 so we can do it all over again congrats to all you hunters that got your trophy buck this year and to all the youth hunters that got your first deer because that is a trophy in itself hunt hard hunt safe and best of luck BUCKAROO Smiley

Yeah I had time to go once, didn't see a thing. Saw tons of deer at night every time I was driving though.

I always start to die down in January too and start looking forward to late summer/early fall.

I like to hunt January hard, have seen a lot of good bucks during this month. However I am one who thinks they let the season run way too long letting us hunt all the way to the end of February. Mostly just meat hunters by then anyway.
