Trap or lead poisoning.  There is some kind of fly poison that works too.

I would go with live traps and relocation. Once trapping season opens you could use Duke Dog Proof traps filled with sardines. They work exceptionally. I have also heard from gardeners that a few coffee cans with used motor oil will keep coons out of your garden. You might try that, but I don't know what the side effects will be.

22 mag with a scope works well.  Only during coon season, of course :-).

I know what to use as bait a buddy of mine owns a varmit control company he says vanilla waffers are the best bait and i dont want to put motor oil out near my stand a deer wont come anywhere near that i guess i will shoot all i can when the season opens on them, they come out in  daylight hours because i have seen them while sitting on stand but i hate to clean the darn things, but i can give away all the ones i kill to some of the guys i work with and i know you have to leave a foot attached to identify them mblah05

I checked my camera yesterday and I have 5 coons and a possum at my feeder. One of the coons likes to climb the leg of the feeder and hang out on the control box. Greedy little ba$tard. This winter I'm gonna try and set enough traps to catch them all at once.
