What will they think of next?  I just downloaded a new iphone app called the Deer Age Tool from the iphone app store.  It guides the hunter through the process of aging deer both in the field before shooting and after tagging from teeth wear analysis.  I'm a wildlife biologist and thought this was very well done and thought out.  After looking at the photos, they are very consistent with what I have seen in North Arkansas deer and should yield accurate ages, although cementum annuali aging is most effective for older deer but you can't do that in the field because you have to send in your incisors for analysis.  I also purchased an app called Deer Score which I didn't think covered the aging subject very well at all.  Other Apps worth mention, Ducks Unlimited new app is very nice. Cheesy

For 8.99 it seems from the screenshots it could be very useful, but at that price i don't imagine many sales.

For the record too, DU's app is a take on Delta Waterfowl's app, Delta's app seems to be more geared for identification and the DU's app seems to put most of the information on their site into an app which is fine I just wanted to mention they are second to the game.

Just depends on which organization you support i guess
