What is your favorite public deer hunting WMA or NWR in Arkansas?

I really like Wedington in Northwest Arkansas and Camp Robinson in Central Arkansas for bow hunting

My favorite for bow hunting is Bell Slough. Back before 9/11 it was incredible, but when they shut down Camp for a while, all the hunters moved in to Bell Slough and wiped it out. It is starting to come back a bit now.

I hunt the Ozark National Forest and like to get down to the White River NWR. It's been flooded forever and I bet there are some big giant monsters down there after not being hunted for a while.

The first public hunting spot we'll cover in our list of "best public hunting spots in Arkansas" is White Rock WMA in Northwest Arkansas. I know some would say Wedington, but I think we build an intriguing case for White Rock. I'll have the article up sometime soon.

ED GORDON /POINT REMOVE only down side is you have to kill a doe before you can kill a buck but the big ones are there.
