I haven't seen a deer in the daylight from my blind in a month! But my Cam catches them EVERY night right in front of the blind! What gives??

Deer behavior is very fickle.

For months, the bucks behind my dad's house would only come to feed at night, but now they are coming to feed in the afternoon.

No one will ever fully understand the behavior of deer.  You are better off trying to understand why women "need" a plethora of shoes. dontknow

Sounds like the deer in your area were hunted hard this year. If they are laying up during the day and moving at night constantly, my suggestion would just be to spot and stalk. It's harder with a bow, but you can do it. No sense sitting on the stand twiddling your thumbs I guess.

I agree with Kevin. If you know where they are bedding during the day find yourself a silent and covered path into the wind and go thru it as quietly and slowly as possible. You may not get a shot off, but I bet you get your heart pumping if you do it right.

I don't know how to train them into shooting hours in such a short time, but if you want to make sure this doesn't happen to you next season... Put out a timed feeder in early to mid summer and only feed at dawn. At my feeder the deer have learned that if they don't come at daylight another deer or turkeys, squirrels and coons will eat all of the corn before dark and they won't get any so if they turn nocturnal they starve.
