While the peak of the rut is over in most places, don't forget about that time some refer to as the "second rut." This occurs exactly one month following the peak of the rut when does that weren't bred during the peak, and some younger does, come into estrus either again or for the first time.

Bucks will travel long distances in search of these does, and it's common to see bucks that don't normally hang out in your area. To increase your chances, use doe bleats and estrus scents just like you would during the peak of the rut.
