I shot this buck on 12-27-10.It is a 7 point with a 20 inch spread,my biggest buck to date.

That is a nice deer.  I shot a seven point with my muzzleloader back in October-he would rattle around inside yours.  I kept the hide from the deer and am in the process of tanning it now.  I'm going to put it on the wall of my man room I'm building out in my shop.

Great buck Knighten, looks like a big body deer too! Had you seen him before? Public or private land? I'm interested in the story behind the deer.

Knighten, great buck and welcome to the forum.

Is it just me or has that deer been living on twinkies this winter? May just be the camera angle but it looks to have a damn big body. Any idea on the weight?

Thanks for the welcome.He weighed around 180lbs.My buddy and i have been after him and another one that is bigger ,since the beginning of november.My buddy shot at mine with a bow 5 weeks ago and missed.We sat in our climbers all day when we could.We did it sun.&mon at 2:30 he come in with a smaller buck and gave me a 40 yard shot.I got my triple trophy,so i am tagged out.I had a great season.
