I have been toying with a few good bucks and it has been the most fun ever. I don't even care if I shoot them. I've got buck fever, but am feeling no pressure to kill them. If you knew me I usually get stressed, but starting this season I'm just enjoying every aspect of it. I've been making mock scrapes for 3 weeks with great results, my son missed two bucks as big as any I've killed, and I've danced with a 10 point. I may not even shoot a buck this season cause playing them is so fun.

I have seen nothing but does this year either. Honestly i am easy to please in the woods. When I see doe I'm happy just to have seen a deer that day. However, I'm getting pretty sick of the slickheads!! I need some horns to walk by so I can at least say I saw a buck. I'm hunting deep in the holler this weekend, so I hope to catch a nice buck foraging on acorns.

During muzzelloader season i watched a 300 yard clear cut plus another little clear cut where i was expecting the buck to come out but ofcourse he comes out at the other end of the 300 yard clear cut so that evening I set at the end he came out and of course he came out where i was sitting that morning. That is an example of the deer toying around with me but the jokes over my browning 300 will easily shoot 300 yards this weekend. haha

At least you saw some. I was in Lawrence Cty over the weekend and I didn't see anything at all.  Zero, zip, zilch, nada. Angry

Jessica. I am using game cameras for the first time this year and have pictures of 4 shooter bucks. I have never seen them while hunting, only does and small bucks. If I did'nt know better I would think there was not any "good bucks" in the area. Its really exciting to know that a good deer could appear any moment and its fun to check the camera to see whats going on while I'm not there. Hope that helps, stay on the stand and never give up, a good deer could appear any moment!
