What scope do you use? I use a Simmons 8 point scope and this thing has been awesome since the day I bought it. I've used some others but sometimes I have had trouble seeing the thin crosshairs in low light. One of the reasons I like the Simmons so much

I like Leupold the most. I have a couple Bushnell Banners and they have performed well. I also purchased a Nikon Prostaff and really like it's clarity. Long ago I stayed away from Nikons because the ones I checked out were twice the weight of a Leupold, but this one is very light and crystal clear. The only scope that I've had to throw away was a BSA although I killed several critters with it before it went bad and at the time a $30 scope was all I could swing. I have friends that are Ziess nuts, but I don't plan on shooting a thousand yards and they are really proud of their products. I'm sure they're great, but for what I do it's overkill.

Muzzleloader - Nikon and Redfield
Rifles-- Bushnell Elite 3200 Firefly(glow in the dark recticles) and Elite 4200
The Bushnell 4200 has thebetter clarity of all of them. I have used the Leupolds VX-III, and I am not a fan. I like their Warranty, but that is about it. For the money, you can't go wrong with a Nikon or Redfield (made by Leupold). As for Quaility and a little extra money, I am going to stick with my Bushnell Elite 4200. It was $280, and the quality is a good as $800 scopes.

Interesting because I really have never owned a pair of Bushnell binoculars I liked, guess their scopes could be better. Then again, been several years since I bought anything from them, so they could have improved a lot.

I wouldnt have any other Bushnell but the Elite 3200 and Elite 4200. It was a Bauch and Lomb design that they purchased. It is the only Bushnell that I would have. Take a look at the reviews.

SWAROVSKI! Top of the line!

They truly are a work of art.  Those Austrians have raised the bar really high for all other optic companies.

I just wish they were cheaper so I could get one. Cry

I would like to have one of those scopes that cost 3 times what my gun did but just can not see paying that much money for one i use a Bushnell banner lite site it has a switch that puts a red dot on the center of the cross hairs for low light early morning and late afternoon and it works great so untill i hit the lottoery its staying on the gun.
