Anybody trying out the new copper ammunition this year? Sounds like a lot of lead was getting in the meat after the kill, I may give them a shot (no pun intended, ha).

If you're trying them, or have already tried them, let us know of any advantages/disadvantages you may have come across.

Your main disadvantage with copper bullets is the lightness of them. The lead in bullets is for extra weight to improve long-range accuracy and penetration! Otherwise I am going to have to see more statistics on them to really know.

I've heard the same issues about accuracy. I think the Winchester E-tip is as good as it gets when it comes to copper from what I've read.
