Any of you guys ever lived in Wyoming or visited for long periods of time? May be moving there due to my wife's job. I've read a lot online, other forums and what not, but need some Arkansan testimonials.

I've been to Yellowstone and all that, but this is Southeast Wyoming. I know it is windy some but not sure what else.

Call your pledge brother Brett Morris. His folks lived in Riverton or Rivertown... whatever it is. BEAUTIFUL. I spent Christmas with them there one year 200 yards from their house was a herd of 30 mule deer. The biggest was a 14 point that crossed the road in front of us every night. The cold is a dry cold and we were wearing jeans  and long sleeved t-shirts in 30 degree weather. It's awesome there. I'll come with you.

Good to hear from you buddy. You need to post more often.

It's official now, moving up there first of July. I was wondering where it was brett's parents lived. Will be in Laramie probably so more of the plains, but I know you can drive any direction and hit mountains within a half hour or so.

Beautiful country. The eastern part of the state is flatter but like you said, don't have to drive far to mountains. I would live there.

Kev, I almost moved there a few years ago. It wasn't the exact same place but people told me it was a nice place to live. I know more than a couple people from the area. They aren't the same, but still nice people. It will be different  but like the great state of arkansas in many ways. make it your own and you will love it. Lots of great fishing and hunting.

I live in Colorado right now and been up to Wyoming lots of times. Long winter, short growing season (if you like the garden) but like they say plenty of MOTH. Trout fishing best ever. Trade places with you, I'm from NC and miss my trees- lot of wide open up there and wiiiindy!
