Get a new gun?  A new bow?  A new box of ammo?  A new fishing lure?  A new boat?  A new backpack?  A new tent?  A new pair of boots?

If you recently acquired something related to hunting, fishing, or the outdoors, brag about it here!!! icon_biggrin

I have always wanted a buck 105 pathfinder since I first saw one when I was a boy scout in California. Finnally bought one. Here is pictures of a 105 and mine attached to my hunting rig.

Columbia sent me their omni heat parka a while back and asked me to review it. Yes, there are a few perks of running and outdoor website!  headbang

I have the review in the works, and should have it up in the next couple days. This thing is extremely warm. Pretty impressed.

I need to learn how to do the picture thing again!  My latest new haul is a pair of waders-Orvis and wading shoes (can't remember brand)  I bought at Ozark Angler in Heber a couple months ago.  Haven't even had them on since I tried them on while buying them-too busy trapping and working on building a man cave room in my shop.  Anyhow, Brandon Routh is who I deal with up there and he threw in some flies for me-variations of fall stuff-eggs, worms, etc..  I've plans (hoping) to have enough $ extra from trapping to buy a new rod and reel also, all to use this coming spring.

I'm keeping back one of the larger, nicer pelts of the common furbearers I trap to have tanned to use as wall hangings for my man cave (when it's done).  Caught a real nice well spotted cat the other day, already have a nice otter, beaver, coon, red fox, coyote, and am going to set for a gray fox and mink as soon as the Christmas hunt is over.  I trap on several deer leases and do so in between and after the deer hunts.  Also am tanning a hide from my muzzleload deer and bear I shot earlier in the fall.

Thats my 2 pennies worth!

Rage Slip-cam broadheads - AWESOME! nuff said

Nocturnal light up nocks - Kinda iffy at first but they turned out to be EXTREMELY helpful on knowing if I made a "good enough" shot to fetch a deer or let it lay up. They're as bright as can be!

Tru-Glo replacement light for fiber optic compound bow sight - Has 3 different brightness levels which is pretty nice. The lowest setting works perfect for the last minute late shot. Really makes the pins glow!

Thats all for now  occasion14

It isn't anything to really brag about, but I got another bottle of Sport-Wash laundry detergent.

My dad used to own 2 pirogues that me and my brother " borrowed " all the time to fish and duck hunt with.  They were stolen about 5 years ago and dad, of course, blamed us.  So, this year I got him a new 2 man bobcat pirogue for x-mas! Finally, all things are right in the world again!!
