What would be the Best of the Best ways to lure in a bear while hunting from a tree stand? I have yet to take a bear, and would really like to kill one this season.
What are the best lures, scents or foods used to lure a bear within shooting range?

Aw man, You missed a great seminar by Clay Newcomb from the Arkansas Black Bear Association at the Arkansas Outdoors Expo. One of the things Clay was talking about was the importance of bait placement over what types of bait you use. He said many people like dog food and grease. I have friends that use expired lil debbies with great success. You might join the ABBA and read some of their stuff if you really want to kill one.

I'll see if I can get Clay in here to answer your questions in this thread. He's the man when it comes to bear hunting.
