I have never realized how relaxing it is to just set in a room and concentrate on mounting your trophy. I started mounting my first duck bout a week ago and just got it finished today and it turned out really good. Im not only addicted to killing ducks now I love mounting them there alot easier than people realize. With some instructional DVDs and manuals I had my mallard skinned, fleshed and formed in about 2 days. Ill post pics when I have better internet connection (at home) but im thinking of do this on the side its alot cheaper to mount yourself than to take it to someone about 50 bucks compared to 200. I have a wigeon and a wood duck in freezer ready to be mounted than I gonna try to start on Bass then deer and maybe small animals like squirrel and rabbits..... practice makes perfect.
