also below those check boxes under "For topics and boards I've requested notification on, notify me of:" please select "Nothing at all" and click "save"

Under your Current Topic Notifications you can unsubscribe to all topics you are currently subscribed too.

Also when creating a new topic or replying to topic, uncheck the boxes under additional options below the textbox.
