Thought this might be a fun topic. A lot of you guys I already know, but some of you I have no idea what you do for a career.
I'm a proposal coordinator for an engineering firm. Title pretty much says it all, but I write proposals to get the company more business. I also have a lengthy background in internet marketing and was an online copy writer for 4 years. Do a lot of web writing, web design and search engine work on the side.

My wife and I are both radiologic technologists, a fancy word for x-ray techs. I do plain x-rays and CatScans and she does those as well as ultrasound. It can be really nasty at times but it aint too bad. I'm always looking for something new that has to do with the outdoors. We're both from Magnolia but we work together at the same hospital in Louisiana, which is where we met. We moved to Little Rock for a couple of years where I worked at Arkansas Childrens Hospital but decided to move back home because we were driving home every weekend to hunt. We probobly could have found some awesome hunting/fishing in LR but we were both paying on a lease down south so we tried to get our moneys worth. Plus the whole family thing ya know.

Go afield with a good attitude, with respect for the wildlife you hunt and for the forests and fields in which you walk. Immerse yourself in the outdoor experience. It will clense your soul and make you a better person. - Fred Bear

I am in my fifth year as a wood tie procurement manager for a rail road tie company in Russellville. My job takes me all over Arkansas, Northern Louisana, Southern Missouri, Western Kentucky and Western Tennessee. My wife and I were self employed for 12 years prior to that running a timber company in NW Arkansas. I have been a forester since 1991 and have worked in east Texas and all over Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma as a procurement forester. During that time I have done everyting from consulting to logging. I have been fortunate to have seen most of the state on foot. I think I get my love of the outdoors from being a Boy Scout in Califorinia when I was a kid, I still use stuff I learned in Boy Scouts about every day.
I also became a beliver in Jesus 25 years ago, he saved my life, made me a husband of 32 years and a father of a perfect daughter. (except she don't hunt)

I have been an EMT, Police Officer, and am now the Transportation Director for a school for children and adults with disabilities, plus I am going to college, and being a single dad, so not much time to hunt or fish, but still get out as often as possible.

I'm a Master Service Technician for a distributor of Toro Commercial Turf Equipment in Memphis. I've been in that line of work for seven years. Prior to that I hauled hazardous waste and worked as a Honda motorcycle service tech. I've also did a couple of years of factory as a line painter, material handler, and quality inspector for various companies. GH1
