I'm ready to do all the things I've put off during hunting season. Then it's fishing, golf, and lake time.

Guys, I ain't lookin foward, I'm doin.  Trapping season is still ongoing and thought it's hard work, it touching the hard core bottom of me as an outdoorsman.  At present I'm working on a room in my shop for my "man area".  I've set aside some of the pelts I've harvested this fur season for tanning to display in the room-otter, red/grey fox, beaver, bobcat, coyote, nutria, mink, still waiting on that muskrat.  I've home tanned a deer and sm bear I harvested last fall and they are progressing well.  I enjoy hunting, do a little trout fishing, but trapping is my basis.  I sure enjoy seeing the wildilife I see while trapping.  I set aside one grey fox and a swatch of bl bear fur for the fly tier I know at ozark fly fishers at Heber.  He is supposed to tie some flies for us from them.  I'm currently trapping in Lonoke county with my stepson and enjoying both the sport and the chance to do some kindship bonding.  Good luck and sporting to all of you.
