This woolly bugger would probly work,I will tie one up and take a picture of the one I use during the shad kill,it is basically a grizzly woolly bugger.Instead of using a cone head for weight,I use a tungen bead. The Vanilla Bugger is a fly pattern for the Golden Ghost as Dave Whitlock would say the carp.

Looks good. I ran out of grizzly hackle over the weekend. Is there a specific kind that you use? The bag I had came in the kit, and it was pretty crappy. Kinda glad it is gone to tell you the truth.

The saddles I get,I buy them at the woodsman at central mall in Ft.Smith they are from Wapsi for about ten dollars. And come in natrual and assorted colors,If you want to spend more there is Metz hackles, and Whiting farm Hackles these birds are genetically grown for a certain size and shape of feather.
