I know more people are in the woods that what i'm seeing. Speak up!! I've come close twice already but haven't been able to bag one. One got spooked and the other a hen messed me up. this weather hasn't helped much either.

Let's hear what you're hearing out there.

My friends in Southwest Arkansas say the birds are fired up. They killed 2 gobblers yesterday morning. Another friend worked 3 gobblers this weekend in Batesville, but couldn't close the deal. Yet another friend hunted Winona and killed one last weekend, but I haven't heard his report for this weekend yet. Seems like the birds are fired up across the state. Hens everywhere are sitting on the nest.
