I was doing some research on something this morning and came across this story on an east coast duck hunting forum. Thought I would "steal" it and share. What a great, great story and awesome guy. I'm sure this is just one of many stories like this regarding butch.

"Just wanted to share a quick story with yall. When I was 12 years old (I am 16 now) I went on a duck hunting trip to arkansas with some people from my church in North Carolina. We were about 1 hour away from stuttgart so we decided to make the drive to visit Macks Prairie Wings and of Cource the RNT Headquarters store which is next door. I started talking to Butch Richenback and I ended up taking a picture with him. Well long story short I told Butch that I could not afford one of his RNT calls, and that I was going to go next door to Macks to try to find a cheaper one. He told me to stay put and next thing I know I was watching him make a Original Acrylic Call right in front of me. I still had no idea what he was doing until he grabbed the engraving tool and asked me what my name was. He engraved " To Sam From Butch Richenback" with the date on it as well. So for those of you who are confused Butch made a original acryllic duck call right in front of me and then gave it to me for FREE. I did not pay one penny for this call. I could not beleive that he would Just make a call personally for me and then give it to me free of charge. THat is a 130$ duck call. Well sorry this was so long just wanted to let yall know about the generosity of Butch Richenback and the RNT company."
