Anyone familiar with places to hunt around Siloam Springs? I know you can hunt the Illinois River but I'm not too familiar with it. Any lakes or ponds anyone knows about or can take me to? Thanks for the help.

How did the Dyer area treat you on opening weekend? I ended up being sick and didn't even get out of the house. Had a productive hunt over on the Black River around Thanksgiving though.

i dunno about the dyer area, or the alma area, but i had a limit 2 days in a row of teal and a few mallards and a pintail. at the mulberry area.  it was just me and my dog so i was usually out by 8 or 830.
idda been done faster if i could shoot.

if you wanna make a run down there when it opens back up on the eigth or that weekend id be glad to split gas with ya and roll down there for another limit! haha

Are you hunting on the river? I live in Dardanelle and I'm gonna do some scouting on the river between here and Ozark.

I've been scouting the Petit Jean and it looks really good, all the timber is flooded. If the ducks will come it should be good. Huh?

well i have to go to work on the 8th, so i dont go any farther south than mulberry when i have to be at work at 1:30.  i got about 11 different spots to choose from on mulberry.  mulberry is just west of ozark. ive never been to ozark to duck hunt. just mulberry and clear creek below alma. Sad

and yes, i hunt the river. well technically im about 50 yards off the river... but its still the river... its my own lil honey hole...... that ai have to race everyone too when i go. haha.

im so glad the old man i met taught me the exact line to run around mulberry so i stay in about 10 ft of water. and everyone else hits land.... haha.  :-)
