several groups of hunters at mulberry......

ARE NOT.... well versed in the duck hunting etiquette department..... i had 3 groups of ppl..... set up within 50 to 150 yards from me... in an area that me and a friend were already set up in.... one was less than 50 yards behind us! the other was about 80 yards to the left of us... and the other one was about 120 yards directly in front of us....and that was with me flashing a light the whooolle time..... not to mention the 3 other boats that came in there trying to set up close to us that i had to shew out of there.

give me a break ppl. show some class, if you dont get to the whole first.... dont jerry hunt and ruin it for someone else cause you couldnt get up early enough.


on a second note. of those 3 groups of inconsiderate hunters... 2 groups never fired a shot. and the other group only got 2 birds while we got 9.    so i guess karma helped us out .

if any of you mulberry ppl get on here and see this.... learn some etiquette before you go hunting again. because you are just ruining the hunt for the hunters you set up way to close too, and your own hunt.

yeah it was prrrrreeeeetttty bad..... luckily there was only 3 groups.... including myself out on mulberry today. and we were plenty spread out... and there was a nice big group of woodies... and a big group of mallards that dropped right in and on the edge of the decoys...... the woodies were hammered to death...... but unfortunately..... the mallards have decided to invest in bulletproof vest and helmets..... cause we put 9 rounds from 3 shotguns into a group of 16 that were so tightly packed that you couldnt see water......at about 25 yards....... and all we got where feathers.... lots of feathers..... and not one kill.... did not even cripple one.... every single one... flew away....


a tear was falling down the side of my cheek when the realization of what had happened hit me..... i had to go home.

but unfortunately..... the mallards have decided to invest in bulletproof vest and helmets..... cause we put 9 rounds from 3 shotguns into a group of 16 that were so tightly packed that you couldnt see water......at about 25 yards....... and all we got where feathers.... lots of feathers..... and not one kill.... did not even cripple one.... every single one... flew away....

haha well i found the cure to the bullet proof vest!! a patternmaster extended range choke, and 3 1/2 inch #2..... we mowed down mallards left and right thursday haha.  well it was either that... or they made the mistake of leaving the bullet proof vest at home that day! haha

That is the combination we use as well. Patternmaster ext full and Winchester blindside. They caught us on our off day.

Dude that's not just mulberry. That's the whole bayo. Same thing happened. To me last year. But the guys were so close.  I could see them. I could see there decoys there faces all there gear. It really sucked. Everyone is like that in the bayo. If your in the hole they will just hunt in it with u. But when they do that to me now I just go crazy and ANYTIME I see them working suckers I startled ceal loud and if i have to I will bust off a shot. I want those people to go back home and say that they hunted too close to some maniac and it ruined there whole hunt.
