Winners of our 1st Arkansas Duck Hunting Photo Contest

Well you guys and girls turned out in full force for our most popular competition to date and picked 3 of the best Arkansas duck hunting pictures, I have seen this year. Over 2,000 votes came in over the course of our competition, we will make this a yearly event. Arkansas Outdoors Online wants to thank Killer Kallz for becoming our title sponsor in the duck hunting photo contest. The winners will be extremely happen with the new calls.

So without Further delay.

3rd Place, with roughly 17% of overall votes, goes to Brian Stamps with the picture "Mallard Near Velma"


2nd Place, with roughly 26% of overall votes, goes to Michael Barre with the picture "Stacking up the snows"


1st Place, with an astounding 37% of overall votes, goes to Jenna Jones, with the picture "Callen' em In"

I'm stoked that we came in 2nd place cause I like the color of the 2nd place call. That pic there is 116 snows I believe, and we recently took a pic of a hunt 2 weeks ago where we got 120 snows.

I like the actual photography skills of the duck photo. Good balance of showing motion and great clarity. Would have been a pretty tough shot to get.

I like the content of the snow birds photo. Looks like an amazing hunt.

And I like the composition of the 1st place winner, and it really shows off the duck hunting envronment. All great photos. Good job guys.

I may get in on the next competition if you guys have another.
